Front Cover Analysis

1. The black horse charging at towards the front of the page is carrying its rider Batman, they both have matching gold shinny Batman badges and both carry a hash determine look as the gather up the strength to run for freedom. The ball of dust and dirt building up behind the pair connoting an image of exploding off like a bullet, this is representing the connotation of them being unbeatable. With both of them carting the shade of black with them shows how they are dark, mysterious, and could be evil.  With the light shades of colours behind Batmen using hopeful colours such as yellow and orange it shows how the people behind are the good and they are fighting the evil.

2. The title of the comic in the colour yellow represent the comic being fun and fun of action, the sharp edged font connoted the target audience of the comic being for males. This is because of the comic being full of action gore, content which may not be suitable for women.

3. The question marks with red and black ink on the pages of paper floating around the room represents the fight between good and evil, batman is seen dodging his way around the room with robin while the mask man stands strong in the centre of the room. The representation in the photo shows a fight which Batman and Robin go on in the comic to find out who Red Hood is.

4. The main image of Robin and Batman of the front of the comic represents the argument for power; Batman is slightly in front of Robin showing how he has more control between the two of them hiding Robin behind him. The colours of the purple on their outfit show a connection between them, the purple connotes a feeling of supernatural and mystery connoting how they are all powerful creatures.
